A great read.....

I had a great conversation with Dr. Guba, Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, last week and we were discussing teacher professional development. The next day she sent me this great book. Of course, this has the endorsement of the Nation Middle School Association and has several editions. Once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I recommend this book for teachers and parents. Often I have parents ask me "is that normal for a middle school student" and this book does a great job of answering those types of questions. A must read for anyone who deals with middle school students.
