Success is Not an Accident!
Some one recently asked me what this means? Or better yet, where did it come from? The statement success is not an accident actually dates back to John Ruskin who is credited with making this statement: “Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.” - John Ruskin (1819 - 1900) In 1985, The Kappas published the book Success Is Not an Accident: The Mental Bank Concept which embraces the demonstration of how your subconscious mind is a goal machine, driven to achieve whatever it is programmed for. The Mental Bank program puts you in the driver's seat for programming your subconscious mind to achieve success, happiness and prosperity, easily and effortlessly. And most recently, this phrase was coined by author Tommy Newberry in his book, Success Is Not an Accident: Change your Choices, Change your Life. At MEH, we have also taken on this phrase to guide what we do as an organization. As a successful school, this helps us to remember that we can't get anywhere without hard work and determination - on everyone's part! We set high expectations for our students and it is our job to help them achieve them. Therefore, everything we do is with purpose and in an effort to make our school successful.
