I want to take a couple of lines to talk about the amazing teachers we have at MEH and recognize their efforts. I always say that it is an honor to be the person who leads our organization and this week reminds me of that. Our teachers work tirelessly to prepare lessons and assessments that engage students and provide creative learning opportunities. The past couple of weeks I have been doing a lot of evaluations which allow me to sit in the classrooms for longer chunks of time and really see things from the students eyes. I have seen interactive lessons that use lots of questioning techniques to make sure I understand, I have seen great streaming videos that enhance my learning, and I got to get up and ready my poem that I wrote in a journal entry (not really) - the teachers have made sure that I am moving and learning actively - I am a lucky Husky. Take time this week to drop a note to your child's teacher and let them know you appreciate them.
