Did you know that the average middle school student requires between 8-10 hours of sleep a night? I encourage parents and students to evaluate current sleep patterns and time spent sleeping. Remember to remove distractions to sleep from the room and establish a routine. Students who have healthy sleep patterns are more alert, retain more information, and feel better in general.
