This week I was able to announce to our staff that Senator Whipple and Delegate Scott have put forth and approved Bill SJ197: Celebrating the life of Peter Don Rose. This came as great news to us at MEH to help us heal and celebrate our colleague's life. I don't think a day goes by that I don't think about Mr. Rose. I was laughing with one of the fifth grade teachers the other day about my 5th grade learning curve my first year and how big of a role Peter played in that. It is quite possible that I would have never made it through my first year without him. FCCPS will honor this bill at at school board meeting in the very near future.
